Meet the Team
Landon Winstead
Landon has served as Pastor of the church since May of 2022. Before coming to Henrietta, he served as Pastor of First Christian Church in Iowa Park from January 2013 until April 2022. He is a graduate of Texas Christian University with a BA in Religion and East Texas A&M University with a MS in Counseling. Landon has graduate work from Brite Divinity School and Perkins School of Theology.
Landon is a third generation member of the Christian Church (Disciples) and his grandfather served as a Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples) for over fifty years. He is married to Ann who teaches at Crockett Elementary School and they have a daughter Emma Claire who is a graduate of UNT and coaches tennis in the Denton area. Ann and Landon live in Wichita Falls.
Dixie Alcorn
Thankful for our choir and their leader, Dixie Alcorn. They bring beautiful messages through song to our Morning Worship Service! We are especially grateful for Dixie and her dedication, talent, encouragement, love, and enthusiasm for our music every Sunday and special choir music and programs throughout the year! She came to Henrietta in 1951. She married Paul Alcorn and joined our church. She began playing the piano for Sunday School and became the substitute organist for Miss Blanche Perkins in 1956. Dixie became the full time organist in the early 1970’s and continues to play every Sunday!!!!! We are so thankful and blessed to have Dixie and her willingness to share her gift of music with us!!
